The small woodland area behind plots 60, 61 and 42 was developed in 2008 into a prime wildlife habitat to encourage a wide variety of birds, plants and insects.
The Green Pennant Award is a national award that recognises high quality green spaces in England and Wales that are managed by voluntary and community groups.
Over the years Ashfield Allotments have been successful in a number of local competitions. In the days to come the photographs from those competitions will be posted here.
Ashfield Allotments have an annual flower show and in due course all the photographs from the shows in 2008, 2009 and 2010 will be available for your to browse.
