Since 2005 Ashfield Allotments have been awarded 16 grants totalling at £25,209. Berrybridge Housing – December 2005 – we were awarded £1299 towards the purchase of a rotavator. Awards For All – March 2006
We were given £5000 to purchase an office Container, Storage Container, New locks and Keys for the main gates and a contribution to the rotavator.
 The dilapidated Show Shed was demolished and replaced with …… a secure office and storage containers
 
HAPEL – Health & Anti-Poverty Forum Eastern Link – we received £470 to purchase a generator
 
Berrybridge Housing – We were awarded £930 to purchase a shredder to help and encourage composting
 
LCVS NRF Cleaner, Safer, Greener Community Fund (3 Grants) – £1810 to Purchase a 10ft storage Container for Machinery – £600 to purchase a toilet unit and to pay for 3 years maintenance – £1500 to purchase a ride on lawnmower
 
The Green Machine – £350 to purchase Quickthorn plants
 
Liverpool Primary Care Trust – 5 A Day Growing Schemes (2 Grants each £5000) – To create a communal allotment that will provide facilities for community groups to use the allotments and provide disabled access. The Councillors Community Initiative – December 2008 – We received £400 to create a wildlife area at the back of the site.
 
Liverpool City Council’s Community Health Fund – December 2008 – We have been awarded £500 to create a pathway inside and around the polytunnel and build a raised bed in front of the car park.
 
Liverpool City Council – January 2009 – We have been awarded £500 to spend on the Communal Allotment project.
 
Liverpool City Council – February 2009 – We have been awarded £1000 to purchase signs for our main entrances and two notice boards for the woodland and wildlife areas
 
Liverpool City Council Active City Fund – August 2009 – We have been awarded £500 to partly fund the purchase of a marquee.
