The Communal allotment project was developed by the allotments secretary Daniel Barrington in partnership with Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool Primary Care Trust.<\/p>\n

The Communal Allotment will provide access to allotments for people with disabilities, local community groups and schools.<\/p>\n

Special thanks go to George Holmes for his hard work and dedication to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In September 2007 we replaced the prefabricated building with a new meeting room and classroom<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The plot was cleared of all rubbish and the level was raised using over 400 tonnes of hardcore<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In March 2008 fencing was erected around the plot and raised beds were built by the Green Apprentices<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The polytunnel was erected by George Holmes and Jeff Frost in April 2008<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Planting has now started on the Communal Allotment<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Once again thanks goes to George Holmes for planting the bedding plants<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Pathways were created by the Green Apprentices in June 2008<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The final area to be developed. In August 2008 George Holmes laid a pathway from the raised bed area to the polytunnel<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
